Welcome to the Dayton Train Show!

2008 Train Show Will Be Bigger and Better Than Ever!

The 2008 Dayton Train Show is right around the corner, and you'll love what we have planned for you this year!

As of last year, Dayton now hosts the biggest train show in Ohio! The dealer floor is already sold out, with your favorite dealers from years past, as well as a few newcomers. There will be over 360 tables of old and new trains in all scales - you're sure to find what you want.

If you"re looking to sell your old trains, many dealers purchase train collections.

Eager visitors await the opening on Saturday morning last year.

Does your child want to get his or her picture taken with Thomas the Tank Engine? Kastner Photography will be there with Thomas to do that! We also have wooden toy train track and cars for sale.

If you want to just watch trains, we will have 22 portable layouts in different scales set up - the largest collection of portable layouts you'll see anywhere in Ohio, ever!

Do you want to learn how to improve your train layout? Some of the best modelers in the country will be there to share their secrets with you!

Do real trains interest you more than models? Some dealers will have vintage railroad equipment such as lanterns, timetables, and operating manuals – and we’ll have historical societies from many of the railroads that frequented the Miami Valley in attendance.

Are you a Boy Scout? If so, there are a limited number of seats available for the Railroading Merit Badge class. Hundreds of scouts have participated in this one-day program in past years.

So come on out to Hara Arena, November 1st and 2nd – if you like trains at all, this is the show for you!

Admission is $6 for adults, with children 12 and under admitted free. The show will be at Hara Arena, 1001 Shiloh Springs Rd, Dayton, from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, Nov 1, 2008, and from 11am to 4pm on Sunday, Nov 2.
